Lauren Costello MS, RD, LDN

  • PRACTICE FOUNDER & DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST

I’m an anti-diet dietitian who is passionate about helping people find peace with food and nourishment so they can live with greater presence and ease. Through both my personal and professional journey, I’ve seen how deeply diet culture shapes the way we think about food, our bodies, and ourselves—and honestly, I don’t believe anyone is untouched by it.

I believe we are all born intuitive eaters. Over time, diet culture teaches us to disconnect from our bodies, and my work centers on helping clients gently heal from those messages and rebuild trust in their own instincts and lived experiences. My approach is grounded in the Intuitive Eating® and Health at Every Size® (HAES®) frameworks, and I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental.

I truly enjoy getting to know my clients as individuals. Our work together is collaborative and rooted in connection, with evidence-based nutrition goals that make sense within the realities of your day-to-day life. I believe in celebrating the small victories along the way, practicing self-compassion, and supporting the process of building comfort and trust with your body, all while keeping safety and well-being at the center.

I’d be honored to support you in this work and to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your body, build trust, and find peace with food.

  • Education, Experience & Growth

-Bachelor’s degree in biology from Saint Michael’s College

-Master’s degree in nutrition from University of Massachusetts, Amherst

-Dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA

During my dietetic internship, I nurtured a passion for GI nutrition and saw how intuitive eating practices can help individuals with GI disorders build a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food. I also gained experience as a GI dietitian, providing patients with practical tools and support to stay safe and nourished.

After several years in a multi-disciplinary group practice, I now provide solo private practice care, combining the insights of collaboration with the ability to focus deeply on each client’s unique needs. I take a compassionate, individualized approach, supporting clients through disordered eating, GI issues, and other nutrition concerns.
